Eisenhower High School was the second high school built in Lawton in the early 1960's. Named after the 34th President, the student enrollment is 1,549 with a student/teacher ratio of 17/1. Known for its excellence in academics, Eisenhower has represented the state of Oklahoma for 10 years in the Academic Decathlon Nationals. The Eisenhower Eagles are also a force to be reckoned with in the sports arena, having produced MLB player Butch Huskey and Olympic Gold Medalist Jason Rouser.
